The Setup Loft is a publication and community for setup obsessives. We're software developers, designers, and creators who treat our workspaces the way a magazine treats interior design. We care about the gear, and we care more about the rooms it sits in.

We started The Setup Loft because the rest of the internet covers desks and monitors the way a search-optimized listicle would, and we wanted something closer to how friends with strong taste actually talk about this stuff.

What we publish

Reviews, buying guides, and the occasional methodology piece. We are slow on purpose. Two posts a month you remember is better than ten you do not.

What we are building

Companion apps for Mac and Windows that will let people share their setups, vote on what looks great, and surface the gear behind the look. Those rooms will live alongside our articles, so this site becomes a showcase as well as a publication.
